Ogdensburg chamber seeks nods for vacant board seats

OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for vacant board seats for 2020.

The chamber board is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of projects and events held by the chamber that help promote and enhance the City of Ogdensburg.

Criteria for nominees are that they are a chamber member in good standing, attend monthly board meetings on the third Wednesday of the month, volunteer to work at some events, serve/participate on some standing committees as needed.

The chamber annually hosts the Polar Bear Plunge, Tastes of the North Country, City Wide Garage Sales, Car-B-Que, NYS Bass Tournament, Ogtoberfest, the Annual Dinner and the Thanksgiving Craft Show.

Those who would like to be considered as a nominee should contact chamber Executive Director Laura Pearson for a nomination form and more info on the criteria. The 2019-2020 Criteria – Board of Directors and Nomination form can be found at www.ogdensburgny.com.
