OGDENSBURG -- Sheer Lace Photography, LLC celebrated its grand opening with the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Nov. 24 with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The studio is located at 7713 State Highway 68, Apt #1.

“Sheer Lace Photography is a premium boudoir studio that helps busy moms get over their negative body issues so they can reclaim their beauty without sacrificing their privacy,” said owner and photographer Lacey Beldock. “Sheer Lace Photography promises to put client comfort, professionalism and privacy above all and while maintaining an environment that is fun and relaxing.”

Beldock just recently completed an educational program that allowed her to earn a boudoir photography certification, said a press release from the chamber. The chamber said Beldock is the only officially certified professional boudoir photographer in New York State.

“I opened up the commercial studio in May of 2018 and it includes multiple sets for portraiture. My studio is a little different because I use a process called ‘same day viewing’ to show my clients their images. I am proud to show them their images straight out of the camera because I believe women do not need photo shop to look great,” Beldock said.

“The use of proper wardrobe, posing, shooting and lighting is how I show my clients their beauty. This is also beneficial because my clients do not need to take additional time off work to do a photoshoot and they don't need to spend any time worrying whether their images turned out or not!”
