POTSDAM -- Health Services of Northern New York, 56 Market St., is offering level two personal care aide training starting April 15.
Those selected for training receive an eight-hour orientation and 40 hours of training over a week, including the basics of home care such as meal preparation, patient grooming, patient transfers, safety, and nutrition.
HSNNY Director of Clinical Services Sheri Chapman said the new trained staff “will allow us to accommodate more patients in all areas of St. Lawrence County.”
