MASSENA -- The North Country Innovation Hotspot Program at Clarkson University’s Shipley Center and Point Positive, an angel investor group founded in Saranac Lake, are joining forces to present a day of workshops for emerging entrepreneurs Friday, Sept. 13 at Hawkins Point Visitors Center, 21 Hawkins Point Rd.
The morning will start with a workshop designed to give participants the tools to identify all of the elements needed to start developing their idea and creating a business model. The workshop will be followed by one-on-one coaching sessions focused on applying those tools to each participant’s idea.
After lunch, which will be provided, participants will come together again for a goal-setting workshop and additional one-on-one work designed to give participants a game plan for next steps and a sense of the resources available to help them move forward.
The day will culminate with a Practice Pitch Session during which teams of entrepreneurs will present investment-ready pitch presentations and receive feedback from the audience followed by a happy hour.
