CANTON — Deep Root Center, 48 Riverside Dr., received a $250 grant from the Stewart’s Holiday Match Program to continue our cooking classes.
DRC student members plan, cook, and eat breakfast and lunch together every day they are at the Center.
The center will use the funds from Stewart’s Holiday Match to purchase healthy whole foods from the Food Bank of Central New York, as well as local grocery stores.
Deep Root Center provides the facilities, environment, resources, and support for young people who choose to live and learn without school.
