OGDENSBURG — Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will begin a construction project that will add 28,000 square feet to its existing 100 Horwood Place, Ogdensburg, building.
The expansion will provide much needed space for approximately 12 physicians and mid-level providers, including pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine.
Many of the providers will be relocated from other offices in Ogdensburg, making it more convenient patient access, a press release from the hospital said.
Lab services and behavioral health services will also be available.
Heritage Homes of Massena will complete the project, which is slated to be complete by Dec. 31, 2020.
Currently, the building houses the Claxton-Hepburn Health Center, the Rev. Thomas T. Patterson Wound Healing Center, and aquatic therapy.
