POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Holiday Fund recently received a $5,000 donation from the Brookfield U.S. Foundation, whose mission is “helping our neighbors in need.”
The foundation’s grant will provide winter clothing for 100 local children this season.
Robert Shantie, Operations Manager for Brookfield’s New York East Operations, and Katherine Casey, Operations Administrator for the company’s New York East Regional Operations Center presented the donation to Potsdam Holiday Fund President Pam Yurgartis.
The holiday fund is an all-volunteer program which provides new toys, winter clothing and food baskets to families in need.
