Stephanie Michele Stone and David Joseph Cummings, both of Canton, were recently married.
Their wedding was held on December 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Knapps Station Community Church. The ceremony was performed by Ed Sachs.
The bride was given away by her parents.
The bride's sister, Rachael Richards, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Melissa Stewart, Smantha Robitaille, and Farrahlyn Salter. The bride's neices, Kelsey Stone and Liberty Stewart, were her flower girls.
Friend of the groom, William Kolwaite, served as his best man. Chris Connell, Dave Cummings, and Brett Stevens served as groomsmen. The groom's nephew, Liam Stevens, served as ring bearer.
Gregory Stone and Michelle Cummings read scripture verses.
Stephanie is the daughter of Bruce and Brenda Stone of Colton. She is currently employed at Edwards-Knox Central School as a teacher of English 9 and reading.
David is the son of Dave and Cheryl Cummings of Holland Patent, NY. He is currently employed by SUNY Canton university police.
The couple's wedding reception was held at the Parishville Fire Hall.
Music was provided by DJ, Chris Whalen.
The matron of honor surprised the bride and groom during her speech with a Christmas song medley. The words were changed to reflect the lives and memories of the couple and their families. The bride's two brothers wore their military uniforms.
The couple resides in Canton.
The bride is now known as Stephanie Michele Cummings.
