Sonja Hitchman, a Hermon-DeKalb graduate, and Dustin Allen of North Carolina were married on Sept. 5, 2014 at The Quarry on Carrigan Farms in Moorseville, N.C.
The bride is the daughter of Phil and Debbie Hitchman of Gouverneur.The groom is the son of Larry and Barbara Allen of Belpre, Ohio.
Paster James Torrence performed the ceremony.
The bride's parents gave her in marriage.
Amy Hallman was the greeter.
Matron of honor was the bride's friend Emily Gravlin. Other attendants included Sonja's friends Dajen Williams, Natalie Harmeyer and Christine Personett.
Best man was the groom's brother, Jeremy Allen. Groomsmen were Dustin's friends Jeff Transeau, Chad Parks and Frank Tran.
Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Braxton Hitchman.
The couple plans a seven-day honeymoon at the Riviera Maya-El Dorado Royale in Mexico.
The bride holds a doctorate of pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Services. She works as a supervising pharmacist at Walgreen's in Denver, N.C.
The groom graduated from Parkersburg Catholic High School. He has a doctor of pharmacy from Wingate University. He works as a pharmcay manager with NC Med Assist in Charlotte, N.C.
The couple resides in Denver, N.C.
