Sarah LaComb and James Hopper were married on July 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Norfolk by Pastor Harold Wheat.
Music during the ceremony was provided by Jane Daby.
Sarah is the daughter or Joan and Paul McGrath of Potsdam and Michael LaComb of Virginia.
James is the son of Gary and Catherine Hopper of Gouverneur.
The bride was given away by her father, Michael LaComb.
The maid of honor was sisters of the bride, Joanne LaComb. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride Jessica and Carissa LaComb. The flower girl was Jaden Maltby, cousin of the bride.
The best man was brother of the groom, Brian Hopper. The groomsmen were friends of the groom, Adam Farr and Nathan Young.
A reception followed at the Norfolk American Legion with DJ services provided by Barr None Entertainment.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School. She graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree. She graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2005 with a Master’s Degree. She is employed at Heuvelton Central School as a French/Spanish teacher.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Harrisville Central School. He graduated with an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Canton in 1998 and will receive his Bachelor’s Degree in 2011. He is currently employed as an Application Support Specialist at Corning, Inc. in Canton.
The couple honeymooned on an Alaskan cruise immediately following their wedding.
They reside in De Kalb Junction.
