Nicole Marie Sheets and Kyle Edmund Smith, both of Madrid, were recently married.
The couple was married July 18 at 1 p.m. at the bride’s parent’s home in Waddington by Justice of the Peace Lawrence Sears. The reception was held at the Waddington Town Hall. Wheels of Steel provided music, and Nick Rycroft sang for the couple’s first dance and as the bride walked down the aisle.The couple drove a Model T to the reception. The wedding featured a reading by Angela Donah, aunt of the bride.
Jessica Sheets, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Elizabeth Myers, Candice St. Andrews, Jaime Oshier and Misty Whalen served as bridesmaids.
Kyle’s brother Daniel Smith was the best man, while Andy Munger, Charlie Olmstead, Jake Gotham, Lance Rood and Nick Rycroft were groomsmen.
The bride’s son Connor LaForce was the ring bearer, and her daughters Chloe LaForce and Kaidence Smith were flower girls.
The couple planned a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, and Nicole will use the name Nicole Marie Smith.
Nicole is the daughter of David and Susan Sheets of Waddington. She is a 2005 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School and Northwest Tech, where she took cosmetology courses. She also attended SUNY Potsdam. She is currently employed as an indirect lending officer for SeaComm Federal Credit Union.
Kyle is the son of Karlyle and Theresa Smith and Julie Vaisey. He is a 2004 graduate of Potsdam Central School, and a graduate of SUNY Canton. He also served in the United States Army. He is currently employed as an electrician by the IBEW local 910.
