Melinda Sue Spearance and Kevin Adam Davis of Canton were married May 9, 2009 at 3 p.m. at the Christian Family Tabernacle of DeKalb, with Rev. Bob Camp officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Lewis Lottie.
Her sister, April Spearance, was maid of honor, and her sister, Katelyn Lumbard, was matron of honor. Sisters of the groom, Keely Davis and Kiana Zulauf were bridesmaids.
Abby Stewart, the groom’s niece, was flower girl.
The groom’s best men were Peter LaSala and Seth Froman, friends of the groom. His brother, Marshall Davis, was a groomsman.
Jake Davis, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.
Parents of the bride are Tammy and Thomas Lumbard and Lew and Marcy Lottie.
The groom’s parents are Sue Davis and Ernest Davis.
The reception was held at the Canton Sportsman’s Club, with music provided by Dennis Barr.
The couple road from the wedding in a ’68 Mustang. They honeymooned in the Bahamas.
Melinda earned an associate’s degree in early care and education from SUNY Canton, and is lead infant teacher at the Canton Day Care Center Inc.
The groom studied criminal justice and is employed by Hackett’s.
