Katherine Fromwiller and Michael Scancarello were married October 19, 2014 by Monsignor Jacques Plante at St. Mary's Church, Bristol, Rhode Island.

Katherine is the daughter of John and Patrice Fromweiller of Damascus, Oregon. Michael is the son of Jim and Fran Scancarello of Rush (formerly of Potsdam).

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

Katherine is a 2006 graduate of Sam Barlow High School, Damascus, Oregon. She received both her bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering in 2010 and her master's of science degree in geotechnical engineering in 2011 from Case Western Reserve University. She is currently employed as a geotechnical engineer at AECOM in Boston.

Michael is a 2008 graduate of Potsdam Central High School, Potsdam. He received his bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering in 2012 from Case Western Reserve University, and his master's of science degree in advanced infrastructure systems in 2013 from Carnegie Mellon. He is currently employed as a structural engineer at Odeh Engineering in North Providence, Rhode Island.

The bride was attended by her matron of honor and sister, Erica Brill; bridesmaids, Mir Johnson, Marcie Aydelotte, and Tyler McClain; and flower girls and nieces of the bride, Kennedy and Madison Brill.

The groom was attended by his best man, Kevin Alland; groomsmen, Stephen Trefethen, Joshua Willis and Jeremey Ridley; and ring bearer and nephew of the bride, Ayden Fromwiller.

Lectors and readers included the bride's grandmother, Mary Fromwiller, the bride's brother, James Fromwiller, and the groom's aunt and uncle, Pat and Dave Haines.

The church musician was pianist and friend of the bride and groom, Mark Colozzi. The church cantor was soloist and friend of the bride and groom, Jenica Reed.

The reception was held at Lindon House, Bristol, Rhode Island.

The couple planned to honeymoon in New Zealand and afterwards to reside in Providence, Rhode Island.
