Holly Michelle Whitford and Jeffrey Lynn Brown, Jr. were married May 19, at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Saranac Lake. Dr. Newton Greiner officiated the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ken Whitford.
The bride is the daughter of Donna and Ken Whitford, Edwards. She graduated in 2007 from Edwards-Knox Central and attended North Country Community College in Saranac Lake. She is employed at Adirondack Medical Center as a patient access representative.
The groom is the son of Jeff Brown, Sr. and Shaundra McCollum, Gouverneur, and Jeanine Brown, Saranac Lake. He graduated in 2008 from Gouverneur Central School. He graduated from Paul Smith’s College in 2010 with an Associates Degree in Baking. He is currently employed by Romano’s Saranac Lanes as a bartender, line cook, and mechanic and also at Simply Gourmet in Lake Placid.
The bridesmaid was Amanda Thornton, cousin. Other attendants included: Tara Beyer, sister; Nichole Morehouse, sister; Kayla Brown, groom’s sister; Courtney Averill, friend; and Brittany Smith, friend.
The best man was Matt McAllister, friend. Groomsmen included: Pat Brown, cousin; Cole Morehouse, nephew; Jay Granata, friend; Phil Muha, friend; and Schuyler VanAuken, friend.
Ringbearer was Brent Morehouse, nephew; flower girl was Kennedy Beyer, niece.
The reception was held at The Comfort Inn, Lake Placid. VIP Entertainment provided the music. They honeymoon destination was a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas.
The couple will reside in Bloomingdale, NY.
