Dana Lyn Mehaffy and Steven James McLear were married August 18 in Ogdensburg.
Dana is the daughter of Timothy W. and Coralee Barrett and Gary Mehaffy of Ogdensburg. She is a 2007 graduate of Lisbon Central High School, with a B.S. in business management from SUNY Canton. She is currently working as a teller at Community Bank, N.A. in Ogdensburg.
Steven is the son of Kenneth and Julie McLear of Ogdensburg. He is a 2006 graduate of Lisbon Central School, and he currently works as a New York State correctional officer at Green Haven in Stormville.
The couple was married at the home of Dana’s grandparents, George M. Sr. and Lucinda Kirby of Ogdensburg, with the ceremony performed by Kathleen Bouchard, the Ogdensburg City clerk.
The bridal party included the maid of honor, Kady Fields, and bridesmaids Tara Mehaffy, Shelby Amo, Jeslyn Kennedy, Danielle Winters, Ashlee Crosby, and Elizabeth Kennedy.
Standing up with the groom were best man Matt McLear, brother of the groom, and groomsmen Jonathan Mehaffy, Nick Decelles, John Lassail, Adam Houmiel, Matt Crosby, and Ryan Beshaw.
The reception was also held at the home of the bride’s grandparents, with music provided by Northern Lights DJ.
The wedding cake was made by Sally Cole, the bride’s aunt, with flowers provided by Colleen Teachout. The photographer was Ashli Mishel Photography.
The couple will reside in Ogdensburg.
