WADDINGTON -- New York State police charged a Waddington man with driving drunk Sunday.
Jesse W. Boula, age 39, of Waddington, was charged with driving while intoxicated at around 2:40 p.m., Troopers responded to State Highway 345 in the town of Waddington for a one car property damage accident.
Troopers arrived on scene, observed a gold 2018 Toyota T100 with front end damage. Troopers interviewed the driver, who was identified as Boula, who stated he swerved to miss a deer exiting the roadway striking a tree. While interviewing Boula, he was showing signs of impairment.
Boula had a .16% BAC. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Waddington Court for a later date in January.
