NORFOLK — Three St. Lawrence County residents were charged with drug possession following a traffic stop Jan. 5 on State Highway 420, according to state police.
Troopers said they charged Tucker M. Ludlow, 20 Norwood, with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance; Timothy R. Kerrick, 34, Winthrop, with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance;, and Jamie-Beth A. Miller, 38, Winthrop, with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and controlled substance not in original container.
Troopers reportedly observed a red Jeep Cherokee traveling north on SH 420 for a suspended registration, officers said.
The driver was identified as Ludlow, who did not have a valid NYS driver’s license and passengers in the vehicle were identified as Kerrick and Miller, troopers said.
Investigation revealed drug paraphernalia was in the vehicle, which was identified as cocaine, police said.
All subjects were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Norfolk Court at later dates, officers said.
