Sharon L. Webber, 62, Massena

MASSENA – Sharon L. Webber, 62, a resident of Laurel Terrace, passed away Tuesday evening, January 9, 2024, at Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Elizabethtown, New York.

Sharon was born December 9, 1961, in the Town of West Barrington, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Donald E. Webber and Ida Louise (Stevens) Webber Barrie.

Sharon worked as a nurse’s aide for various facilities and more recently at Burger King in Rhode Island.

She also made jewelry and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her children, Tanya (Jenniffer) McQuoid of Massena, Michala Whitford of Massena, Donald Buxton of Aurora, Illinois, Courtney Fuller of N. Providence, Rhode Island, Katherine Buxton of Providence, Rhode Island, Patrick Buxton of Rhode Island, William Buxton, Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island, Timothy Buxton of Cranston, Rhode Island, and Melissa Buxton of Massena; many grandchildren including, Damon Whitford, Aurore “Aryn” and Collyn Paquin, Nathen Souza, Madison, and Piper Fuller, and Alexander Buxton; her siblings, Judith Lanardo, Donna Webber, Eileen Silveira, and Cynthia Stanzione, all of Rhode Island; her brothers, Richard Webber of Rhode Island and Kenneth Webber of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Waterman.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call on Monday from 2-4 PM followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.

Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, Rhode Island at the convenience of the family.
