LOUISVILLE -- A Russell man is facing multiple charges after entering a secured area and allegedly stealing items.
Troopers say Alan G. Adams, 40, has been charged with fifth-degree stolen property, third-degree criminal trespass and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to Troopers, a call was made on Oct. 31 around 5:42 p.m. regarding a suspicious male in the town of Louisville.
An investigation determined Adams entered a secured area he did not have permission to be in and stole items, troopers say.
According to police, upon locating Adam they found him in possession of the stolen items.
A safety search of Adams revealed he was in possession of Alprazolam, police say.
Adams was arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Louisville court for a later date in November.
