Robert "Bob" A. Kuhn, 92, Fowler and formerly of Star Lake

FOWLER / STAR LAKE -- Robert “Bob” A. Kuhn, 92, of Fowler and formerly of Star Lake, NY died Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital from complications of hip surgery.

Calling hours and burial will be held privately.

Bob was born in Syracuse, NY to Arthur J. and Alice E. (Lambert) Kuhn on May 31, 1931.

He graduated from St. John the Baptist Academy in Syracuse.

On June 23, 1956, he married Della M. Towne in the Newton Falls Catholic Church. The couple raised a son and three daughters and were married nearly 65 years.

Bob retired from Newton Falls Paper Mill as a millwright.

Surviving are his wife, Della of Fowler; three daughters, Kathleen “Kathy” (Jeff) Corbine, Susan (Ed) Ritz and Julie (Royce) Lottie; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his step-mother, Katherine Kuhn and his son, Alan Kuhn.

Bob was a charter member of the Clifton-Fine Rod & Gun Club and the Star Lake Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, going to flea-markets, antiquing, bowling and playing cards, especially pinochle (pee-knuckle).

Bob and Della enjoyed wintering in ZephyrHills, FL for a number of years.

Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton has been entrusted to Bob’s care and arrangements.
