POTSDAM – Keith J. Gonyou III, 32, Potsdam, was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of property-damage accident on Nov. 26 at midnight on Main St.
Patrols responded to a report of an auto-crash detection alert with airbag deployment. During the investigation Gonyou was located near the scene and determined to be the driver of the vehicle and in an intoxicated state. At the station Gonyou refused to provide a breath sample.
Gonyou was arraigned before Judge Grubee, Town of Norfolk, and released to answer charges in Town of Potsdam Court on Dec. 6.
