NORWOOD – Bryce Yette, a student at Potsdam Central School, has been selected as the Potsdam Rotary Club Student of the Month for January. Bryce is in the HVAC/R Program at the Seaway Career & Technical Education Center.
He is from the Potsdam Central School District and is the child of Jerald and Sarah Yette.
HVAC/R covers topics such as basic electrical theory, wiring, troubleshooting skills, use of an electrical meter along with common electrical and mechanical hand tools, fundamental principles of refrigeration, combustion, thermodynamics and trade safety. There is also the opportunity to earn Federal Environmental Protection Agency Section 608 of the Clean Air Act Certification.
Bryan Mott, his instructor, said “Bryce is a good student. He pays attention and is eager to learn. He is a pleasure to have in class. He actively participates in class and demonstrates consistent work efforts.”
