NORFOLK -- A Norfolk man is accused of threatening a victim with a knife Nov. 11 during a domestic incident on River Road, according to state police.
Joel L. Farrell, 36, reportedly pushed another person into a dresser during an altercation and later threatened that person with a knife, while making threatening statements, offices said.
The victim reportedly struck Farrell in self-defense and was able to get away, police said.
Farrell was charged with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree harassment and aggravated family offense, officers said.
He was released on his own recognizance, police said.
