POTSDAM -- A Frontera Compalapa, Mexico, man has been charged after leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
Potsdam police say Fredi Morales Lopez, 44, was charged with unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident and unsafe backing on May 2.
According to police, Lopez was issue traffic tickets after police responded to a report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident in the Asian Buffet parking lot on Market Street.
Police say Lopez was found to be at fault for backing into a parked car and leaving the scene.
