Judith N. "Judy" Coleman, 80, West Potsdam

WEST POTSDAM – Graveside services for Judith N. “Judy” Coleman, 80, a resident of Ogdensburg, and formerly of the Barnes Road, Potsdam, will be held in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton, at a later date and time to be announced.

Mrs. Coleman passed away Wednesday evening, December 6, 2023.

Judy is survived by a son, Fred and Heidi Robar, of Pensacola, FL; a daughter, Tammy and Richard Day, of Lisbon; her beloved three grandchildren, Daniel Robar, Amanda Robar and Bernie and Cara Adams; four great-grandchildren, Alexis Adams, Cameron Adams, Amelia Robar and Madilyn Robar; a brother, Andrew and Nancy Tiernan, Potsdam and two sisters, Diane Tiernan, Lisbon and Debbie and Roger Hill, NC as well as several nieces and nephews.

Judy was pre-deceased by her parents, her late husband, Willis and two brothers, Terry and Ronald Tiernan.

Born in Canton, NY on December 3, 1043 to the late William and Lillian Wright Tiernan, she graduated from Potsdam High School, Class of 1961.

Judy will be joining her late husband, Willis H. “Bill” Coleman.

Judy worked in the billing department at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in the outpatient office for many years and after retirement, her and Bill were the owners and proprietors of Ham’s Inn at Sevey’s Corners.

In her free time, Judy enjoyed going to camp and spending time doing outdoor activities.

She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was active with the seniors group SOAR thru SUNY Potsdam.
