GOUVERNEUR -- An investigation is underway following an alleged accident between a marked Gouverneur Police Department patrol vehicle and a separate vehicle.
The alleged incident took place Dec. 30 and was reported by the other driver, who was not a police officer, officers said.
The incident is under investigation and has been turned over to outside law enforcement for an independent investigation, police said.
