HEUVELTON — A Heuvelton man was charged with driving while intoxicated after troopers allegedly stopped to check on a vehicle that pulled to the side of the road abruptly on Tuesday evening.
Dylan D. Scott, 27, was charged with first-offense DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic tickets shortly before 9 p.m., on Washington Street, officers said.
Troopers said when they approached the vehicle they observed a physical altercation between Scott and a backseat passenger.
Police said no one was injured during the altercation, police said.
Scott was allegedly showing signs of impairment and he reportedly failed field sobriety tests.
His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was allegedly .15%.
Scott was cited and released, officers said.
