Mariah Palmer assembles scarecrows for the annual Haunted Hayrides at 94 Leary Flint Rd., Brasher Falls, granddaughter of Kim and Ed Russell, property owners hosting the event to benefit the Tri-Town Chamber. The event runs for three weekends: Sept. 29-30, Oct. 6-7 and Oct. 13-14 starting at 5:30 with non-scary rides, then scary rides at dark. Entry is $5 per person.
