HAMMOND — A Hammond man was accused of holding a knife to someone’s throat during a dispute Oct. 21, according to state police.
Patrick H. Edgar, 62 was charged with second-degree for menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, officers said. .
Troopers responded to Mill Street around 9 a.m. for a menacing complaint.
An investigation determined Edgar allegedly approached the victim from behind and placed the knife near the victim’s neck holding in an area that could cause serious physical injury.
Edgar reportedly lowered the knife and left the area, officers said.
He was later located, arrested and arraigned in Morristown court where he was released on his own recognizances.
