Gouverneur Police Blotter, Nov. 8 - Dec. 1

Wednesday, November 8

Jamie P. Bonanno, 34, Gouverneur, arrested at 12:32 p.m. for 6 counts of Criminal Contempt 2nd. Defendant talked to the victim 6 different times on a recorded St. Lawrence County Jail phone when the victim is protected with a no contact order of protection from the defendant. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Canton Town Court date.

Thursday, November 9

Joshua D. Martin, 44, Canton, charged at 2:59 p.m. for Unlicensed Operator. Subject was traveling on East Main Street driving a vehicle without a driver’s license. Subject was issued a uniform traffic ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Friday, November 10

Cayden J. Stowell, 21, Gouverneur, charged at 8:40 p.m. for Speed in Zone. Subject was traveling on William Street at 50 mph in a listed 30 mph zone. A traffic stop was initiated and a uniform traffic ticket was issued with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Thursday, November 16

Sharon L. Carlin, 23, Hermon, arrested at 6:46 p.m. for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without inspection, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Defendant was driving a green and white 1995 Ford Econoline e150 on Prospect Street with switched plates. Defendant was then found to not have a driver's license and the van had no insurance or inspection. Defendant was then found to be in possession of a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Defendant was arrested and issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Friday, November 17

Billy J. Miller, 46, Gouverneur, arrested at 6:06 p.m. for Harassment 2nd Physical Contact, Unlawful Eviction and Resisting Arrest. Defendant was involved in a physical domestic and pushed the victim out of the residence. Defendant then locked the doors to the residence not allowing the victim back inside her dwelling. Defendant then resisted arrested against two Gouverneur Police Officers. Defendant was arraigned at Rossie Town Court and released with a return Gouverneur Court date and a no contact order of protection with issued.

Tuesday, November 21

Billy J. Miller, 46, Gouverneu, arrested at 6:43 p.m. for criminal contempt 2nd. Defendant went to 11 Johnstown Street Gouverneur where the protected party from a no contact order of protection lives. Defendant was arrested for violating the order of protection. Defendant was released with an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town court date.
