To the Editor:

As a retired United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, I understand the meaning of service, commitment, leadership, and responsibility. These values matter in our military, our communities, and in those we choose to represent us.

I am proud to personally endorse Rita Curran for re-election to the St Lawrence County Legislature, District 15.

Rita is a community-driven public servant who understands that elected officials work for the entire community. She has demonstrated her commitment to veterans and their families, public safety professionals, public service employees, farmers, senior citizens, working families, and local businesses.

As a veteran, l especially appreciate Rita's respect for those who have served our country and her recognition of the sacrifices made by veterans and their families. Rita also understands the importance of agriculture to the North Country and the need to support our farmers. She recognizes that our senior citizens deserve access to services and resources that help them remain safe, active, and independent in the communities they helped build.

Looking to the future, St. Lawrence County must continue attracting responsible, sustainable businesses that create jobs, strengthen our tax base, and provide opportunities for our young people and families to build their futures here.

Rita understands that public service requires listening, cooperation, fiscal responsibility and putting people before politics.

As she seeks a third term, I am proud to personally support Rita Curran for District 15 and her continued commitment to the people of St. Lawrence County.

Service. Community. Commitment.
