Clarkson University announces new ‘3+1 Business Administration and MBA Accelerated Program’

POTSDAM — Clarkson University’s David D. Reh School of Business is now offering a new 3+1 Business Administration BS/MBA Accelerated Program.

The new program will fast track students’ business career and empower them to complete both their bachelor's in business administration and master's in Clarkson’s Top 100 MBA program, all within four years, according to a press release from the college."This new 3+1 Business Administration BS/MBA accelerated program at the Reh School of Business will enable students to embark on an accelerated journey toward success," said Bebonchu Atems, Interim Dean of the Reh School of Business. "With personalized guidance from dedicated advisors, students can design an individualized plan of study tailored to their goals. By integrating our top-ranked MBA program with undergraduate studies, we are preparing students to excel in their chosen profession, while revolutionizing the path to that success”

Upon fulfilling all admission requirements and academic criteria in the undergraduate program, students in the 3+1 program are guaranteed a spot in the college’s Top 100 MBA program.

“The students we attract to Clarkson are often overachievers.  This program allows those students who want to take on some extra coursework each semester to earn both an undergraduate business degree and their MBA in that shortened time frame,” said Associate Dean of Operations and Student Success Floyd Ormsbee. “If the student decides to opt out, they can go to a traditional course load and still complete both of their degrees in the 4+1 timeframe. This addresses two sets of interests for the students and parents: it helps reduce the cost of their overall education and it gets the student into the workforce earlier with the opportunity to start their career at an enhanced salary level. It is truly a win-win opportunity.”
