NORFOLK -- A Chase Mills woman has been charged after police say she failed field sobriety tests following a one-vehicle accident on Oct. 27.
Susan M. Caldwell, 53, was alleged to have driven her 2009 gray Subaru Outback into the east side ditch, at which time troopers say they initiated a traffic stock around 1:14 p.m.
Police say they interviewed Caldwell, during which time she showed signs of impairment.
According to police, Caldwell was administered field sobriety tests, which Caldwell is alleged to have failed.
Caldwell was then arrested and transported to SP Massena where she refused to provide a breath sample, police say.
She was arraigned in Town of Norfolk Court and released on her own recognizance.
