CANTON – A Canton man was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility for violating an order of protection in the village of Hermon on Thanksgiving Day.
Deputies charged Christopher E. Dafoe, 36, with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt following an Order of Protection Violation investigation that occurred in the Town of Hermon. Dafoe was found to have contacted a protected party, violating a No Contact Order of Protection, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies.
He was arraigned in Hermon Town Court, in front of Judge Velez, and remanded to the county jail. Dafoe is set to appear in Hermon Town Court at a later date.
