CANTON — The French Exchange Program at Canton Central High School is again in full swing, this year with two dozen French students and teachers visiting for ten days with host families in Canton.
In turn, French students from Nogent le Rotrou, France, also host Canton Central French Club students.
Potsdam High School French students also visit and host students from Nogent-le-Rotrou, France.
The exchange program was started over 30 years ago.
This year the French students flew into Montreal Friday, Feb. 16. After a short sightseeing trip in Montreal, they arrived in Canton that night.
Among their sightseeing trips in the area have been Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex. They also skied at Massena’s Nicandri Nature Center.
The French students leave Monday, Feb. 26, to New York City for two days of sightseeing before flying back to France.
