NAPLES, FL - Brianne Lyn (Farrell) Sutkus, age 43, went to her heavenly home on April 1, 2024.
She was born on November 15, 1980, in Ogdensburg, NY.
She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1999. She received her Bachelor Degree from SUNY Potsdam.
Her parents are Terrence and Kathryn (Wells) Farrell.
She is survived by her beloved son, Jackson; her brother, Nathan (Joy) Farrell; niece, Lillian Farrell and nephew, Christian Farrell; and sister, Chyanne Farrell of Delmar; grandmothers, Lorraine Wells and Mary June Farrell of Ogdensburg; aunts and uncles, Andrew (JoAnn) Wells, David Wells all of Ogdensburg; Jeffery (Antoinette) Wells, of Marcy, Mary Lou White, Patrick (Susan) Farrell, Katherine (Leon) LaRock all of Ogdensburg, David Farrell, of Florida, and Michael (Jacqueline) Farrell, of Rochester. She is also survived by Jackson’s father, Michael Sutkus, Jr.; sister, Caitlyn Sutkus; grandparents, Sandra Sutkus (Tony Pizzuto) and Michael Sutkus, Sr., Aunt Danielle Pizzuto, Uncle Antonio (Anna) Pizzuto, and Aunt Nicole Pizzuto. Brianne has many cousins that meant so much to her; Kristen, Megan, Jeremy, Jonathan, Katie, Michael, Scotty, Jill, Justin, Ryan, Kristi, Travis, Liza, Megan, and Alex.
After graduating from college Brianne moved to LaFayette, NY where she married Michael Sutkus, Jr. in 2016. ,
From that union she was blessed with her cherished son, Jackson who is now 8 years old.
Brianne moved to Naples, FL in February of 2022.
She thrived in the sunshine and warm weather and said she felt like she was living in paradise.
She worked at IVX Health Infusion Center where she was a wonderful employee, loved by co-workers and patients alike.
She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, and keeping fit. She became very involved in AA in the Naples area.
She made many friends that she loved so much. Jessica Gibson became one of her closest friends and Brianne thrived in their friendship.
Brianne was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Everett Wells, her maternal uncle, Gregory Wells, and her paternal grandfather John Farrell.. She had never met Greg, but she passed on what would have been his 59th birthday.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Brianne on May 11, 2024, at New Life Assembly of God church in Ogdensburg, NY.
Calling hours are 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
A service will follow at 1:30 pm.
