Chickadees were given colored bands on their legs at Massena’s Nicandri Nature Center by Susan Wilson, a licensed bird bander, and her class from St. Lawrence University. The bands are used to see how long individual birds are seen and where they go when they aren't at the feeders. If you see a banded bird, try to see what colors it has on and report it to Nicandri Nature Center website: #WildlifeWednesday
