Barbara A. Ferguson, 87, formerly of Potsdam

WEBSTER, NY -- Graveside services for Barbara A. Ferguson, a resident of Webster, NY and formerly of Norfolk, will be held in the springtime in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk.

Barbara passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 87.

Barbara was born in Potsdam, NY to her parents, John B. Adams II and Mary A. (Matochik) Adams. She was one of five children.

A graduate of Potsdam High School, she married Edward D. Ferguson on June 25, 1960; they were married for over 50 years.

She is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Terri Hawks) Ferguson and Brian (Audrey Sugimura) Ferguson, all residing in Maryland; five grandchildren, Zoe, Gavin, Max, Scott, and Eric; her siblings, John B. Adams III, Margaret Guest, and Mary Kemp and she was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward and a sister, Helen Donnelly.

Barbara and her husband, Edward were residents of Norfolk, New York, for over 45 years.

They were very active in the community and the Church of the Visitation.

Barbara moved to St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge in 2011 after the passing of her husband.

There she was active in the community and church as well.
