Ann Elizabeth Lalonde, 89, formerly of Lisbon

LISBON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Ann Elizabeth Lalonde, 89, of Fort Edward and formerly of Lisbon, will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip and James Catholic Church in Lisbon, with Rev. Kevin O’Brien as celebrant. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery in Lisbon.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home, 515 Caroline St., Ogdensburg. Mrs. Lalonde was unexpectedly found unresponsive by family at home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and passed away at Glens Falls Hospital.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Ogdensburg.

Ann Elizabeth Lalonde was born on May 6, 1937, in Alexandria Bay, New York. She was the daughter of the late Oscar “Pee Wee” and Emma (White) Andress. Ann graduated from Alexandria Bay High School with the Class of 1955. She went on to attend the A. Barton Hepburn School of Nursing, where she earned her degree and became a Registered Nurse. Ann and her classmates remained close, gathered yearly, most recently this past August.

Ann married Richard Lalonde on March 19, 1960. Richard passed away on December 21, 1983. Ann worked as the school nurse for the Lisbon Central School District for 22 years. While there, she started the school ski club, and oversaw it for several years. Later, she worked for the New York State Department of Corrections, and  managed the family farm after the passing of her husband.

Ann enjoyed trips to the casino, gardening, dining out, birdwatching, knitting, and listening to audio books. She became an avid traveler, going to Italy, Spain, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, China, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, various points across the US, and regularly cruised with friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her children, William (Karen) Lalonde of Loudon New Hampshire, Beverly Lalonde of Fort Edward, Gerald Lalonde of Fort Edward, Patricia (Stephen) Morley of Lisbon, and Kimberly (Kevin) Belanger of Warrensburg. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Kara (Leah) Brome of Boston, Massachusetts, Zachary Lalonde of Gloversville, Bonnie (Nick) Rose of Albany, Gabriel Belanger of Warrensburg, and Emma Belanger of Warrensburg.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Lalonde; her sons, Robert Lalonde and Richard Lalonde Jr.; and her brother, Danny White.
