In response to the letter “State Parks Should Admit the Disabled for Free” (Letters, Dec. 7-13): If you can afford $35,000 for a camper and truck to tow it with then you are financially better off than most people in this world and you should be able to afford to pay for the luxury of going camping. There are people in this country who cannot afford a place to live, food, and medication. Just because you have a disability does not mean everything should be handed to you on a silver platter. So get over yourself and appreciate the fact that you don’t have more problems than you do!
