Entitlement has run rampant, and it's not just unemployed people either. People from all walks of life suffer from the belief that they are somehow entitled. The truth is, you are not entitled to anything, ever, at any time. You weren't even entitled to be born. Someone had to care enough and do the work to birth you. You’re not entitled to get a good education; you have to try. People have to work, lobby relentlessly, borrow, sacrifice, and work. Why? So you can get a job. You’re not entitled to a good job or good pay. You have to pave the way! Don't have a skill? It's not to late. You can join forces with others and form unions and by a collective effort you all can bargain for better pay. But you are not entitled to that pay, you have to bear the burden of the policies created during the collective part, or your pay goes bye-bye. Fast food workers have fought together as one and they're making something happen. Are they entitled to it? Hell no! Can they do it? Yes! You’re not entitled to health care either. Is your area economically depressed? Either move away or fight back against whatever ignorance is causing the poor economic conditions! Don't use it for an excuse; you are not entitled to excuses.
