There will be a survey put out by Hopkinton Town Board to 1,000 residents in the area to allow them to give input on the proposed wind project. The deadline is Feb. 3; please help the board make a good decision. Talk with your neighbors, friends, and relatives about their concerns. Please do not assume that the wind turbines are green energy that will benefit the area. This is a foreign company, the projects are not as green as we are led to believe and the effects can be detrimental for people living within 3-5 miles of a turbine this large (500 feet). Watch YouTube videos on the noise produced, ice throw, wind turbine syndrome, and visit www.facebook.com/citizensforruralpreservation for more info.
