In response to “Stop Cats, Cars, Windows” which appeared in the June 7 -13 issue of North Country This Week: The writer would have you believe that cats, cars and windows kill many birds each year. So why should we be concerned over many additional bird fatalities in exchange for part-time -- when the wind is blowing strong enough? In my opinion, this would be similar to paying way too much for a car that is supposed to go 100 miles per hour, according to the ad, but just can't get above 30 miles per hour. Wind power, the most deficient way to make electricity.
