I was wondering why the local news media here, like North Country Now and the Daily Courier, didn’t carry an announcement of the meeting at St. Lawrence Central on the common core teachings they had Dec. 10. With this being a hot concern for all students, maybe a lot more parents would have wanted to show up. But it seems they just wanted to hold the meeting with as few of the general public as possible, otherwise they might have made it better know so people could have planned to be there. Why was that?
