I noticed the traffic lights were out at the corner of State Rt. 310 and U.S. Rt. 11 Friday Jan 13. What struck me was it was a busy travel time for a Friday (4 p.m.) and there wasn’t even a state trooper or village police car sitting at the corner, perhaps prompting travelers to obey the laws. I wouldn’t have wanted to stand outside in the weather to direct traffic, but to have a car present would help. I’m surprised there were no collisions.
