When driving in winter, better safe than sorry

In regards to “Winter Driving Lessons” (Dec. 5 - 11) I am a slow driver in the winter here due to unseen ice on the roads. It is better to be safe than sorry. For the rude person who wrote in last week - That slow car may be my teenage son. There are a lot of new drivers on the road -when we were practicing safe driving we generally found at least one driver a day who sped up passed us -and were very angry to boot. Our sons, daughters and older parents have every right to be driving as long as they are obeying the law passing several cars at 70 mph and giving us the finger doesn’t qualify.
