Hey did you see that our sales tax is going up. Isn’t it nice to have the tax burden go up on the poor who spend so much of their money on taxable items, in order to lower property taxes on those who live in nice homes? Whatever can our legislators find to spend the new money on? Maybe another 75,000 for a Bassmaster tourney? That sure was important to me. Or more money to try and popularize the “rooftop highway?” Seriously now, are these the right spots to use tax money?
