What about our rights?

Leaseholders state that they have the right to do whatever they want with their own property. That is not exactly true. They must seek permission to construct or alter buildings or start a business. They must adhere to regulations that protect adjacent property owners from noise, open dumping, junk yards, and other nuisances. Without a doubt, 500' (or larger) industrial wind turbines will have a negative effect on adjacent property owners. What about our rights? What about our rights to enjoy our unspoiled views? What about our rights to enjoy watching birds, raptors, and the wildlife that surrounds us? What about our rights to enjoy the peace and quiet of our environment and our homes? What about our rights to gaze at the beautiful star-filled sky? Our homes are our havens and our health, happiness, and properties should not be sacrificed.
