Weather forecasting remains largely guesswork despite all the gadgetry used to impress and entertain us. What weather will be in any local is impossible to predict accurately. We can better understand what happens and why than before, but not when, where and how much. Preparing for the worst and having a sense of humor are essential. I hate rainy days and winter, but, if I could not live with them, I'd be in real trouble!
