I live in south Higley in Colton and we have been flooded since Friday June 12. Many of us have had to pull our boats. Docks are either inaccessible or under water. The river is full of debris and dangerous for boaters. The current is raging so fast that swimming, canoeing or kayaking are deemed dangerous. This is not what we property owners who were just reassessed for this wonderful river frontage we own should be subjected to. The work horse of the foothills of the ADK needs to be managed more efficiently.
